I grew up in Brembilla, a small rural town in the mountains. Small town, big climbs.

Brembilla  lies at the bottom of four climbs that I still ride years later. One of them — Sant’Antonio Abbandonato — is, in my eyes, the best of them all. It’s not very popular, mainly because it’s steep — too steep, according to many people.

But it has everything you could ever want from a climb: fatigue, resilience, rawness, isolation, remoteness, and stunning landscapes. And it’s right there, just next door.

So if you ask me which climb to ride, my answer has always been — and will always be — go to Sant’Antonio. Nothing else.

Italo is our star: great on climbs, steady on the flats, unbeatable when it comes to bikepacking and sleeping in extreme conditions — whether it’s a tent or a tree, it makes little difference to him. He has one single flaw: for him, one beer is already “too much”! He is  dreaming to ride to Nordkapp and sooner or later he will get up to there

Toni is our MTB guy: downhill, free-ride, pure technique. He’s the only one with a real cycling pedigree — he has raced bikes since he was a kid, as per family tradition. He has a strong attraction to the color yellow: if you go riding with him, wear a fluorescent yellow jersey and you’ll make him happy.

On top of it he’s the care-taker and absolute master of the bike fleet. When you will be riding smoothly say thanks to Toni
